The set of solutions that have been researched, applied and constantly renewed are our technical side; the Tec-Side Epogea. With these techniques, the best success of our production is guaranteed.
The uniqueness of our proposals has been fostered precisely by the techniques applied, often unpublished, forgotten and rediscovered, sometimes reworked from old chemical and industrial cookbooks.
Artistic ability concurs in production but does not dominate, a method of work is proposed that uses differentiated levels of expertise engaged in the constant search for expressive force, consistency with our time or place of destination.
Beyond the purpose of ensuring a quality-controlled ornamental product, Epogea’s techniques serve to be competitive in large markets (foreign and otherwise) that demand guarantees of good workmanship, precision in production timing, feasibility and beauty.

Surface metallization, except for the most common galvanic systems that are being phased out due to their toxicity, is achieved through metal particles thrown on objects in a confined environment where a vacuum has been produced.
Epogea has pioneered for many years, and fine-tuned in 2009, a chemical silvering process called the oxidation-reduction or aldehyde-glucose cycle that was introduced in 1850 in mirror manufacturing.
The interesting feature of the chemical silvering process adopted and studied by Epogea lies in the not only theoretical possibility of silvering any surface without having limitations in shape, size and material.
The chemical silvering process is done quickly by spraying, and the vehicle of the chemistry is pure demineralized water all assisted by specific equipment designed by Epogea.
Years of experimentation and refinements have made this process nontoxic, that is, within the limits allowed by regulations, allowing the liquid residue to be dispersed or rather, eliminated through evaporation, which is followed by collection and reuse of the dry residue.
To complement the production possibilities, Epogea has also developed metallization processes with aluminum
Hence the ability to coat any shape, material and size with silver, copper, aluminum and gold.
White metals, through perfectly transparent color filters, can appear as gold and copper with their different color gradations.
To fully control these processes Epogea develops specific equipment that can ensure the proper execution and control of production cycles.
Epogea wall bases for printing and painting
Wall graphics is a printing technique on special wall bases made in-house.
From here we can talk about pictorial print, modern fresco, fresco, fine art giclee print.
It is precisely the possibility of producing masonry surfaces with different characteristics that allows for different artistic expressions.
The water colors of our printers, enter into relationship with wall surfaces and stabilize due to their chemical characteristics .
Epogea wall bases have enabled many interesting results and developments. You can work on the print with acrylic paints, tempera, spirit markers, India ink, oil paints, pencil and pastels.
One can wear down surfaces with abrasive papers and seek novel effects.
Authentic wall can be felt by touch, and the eye perceives it.
Several prints can be connected and even large works can be obtained.
The decorator, but also the artist, will be able to experiment with our techniques while adding their own style. The student can learn to paint by completing or retouching reproductions of famous authors.
The photographer may request specific print bases for their images, increasing their impact.
The graphic designer and digital artist will have appropriate output for their computer art.
Forming Engraving Printing and Sculpture
Alpha gypsum is a calcium sulfate of high hardness suitable for producing ornamental shapes of all sizes . In addition to the characteristic white of plaster, it is possible to transform the surface of this material with endless effects.
Epogea offers mainly metal, place earth or encaustic coatings.
The strength of alpha gypsum can be further increased by incorporating mineral fibers or additives into the masses and also by priming the surfaces.
This is unlimited experimental ground with codified production precedents easily traced in ancient industrial cookbooks. This ancient material is still unsurpassed in versatility and although it has been used for millennia, it still offers opportunities for rediscovery and new uses.
Epogea has adopted ancient techniques for forming and processing this fantastic material. He proposes it in modernity with the aim of bringing out the sculpture so that it is also more present as a furnishing accessory
