The Municipality of Roccaraso during World War II was heavily touched by the Gustav Line resulting in its complete destruction.

Unchanged, however, remains the nature and beautiful location that has been an important and traditional winter sports destination for more than a century.
Epogea has been actively cooperating to promote this area since 2015.
